Wonderful portfolio site for the British visual artist Quayola. I could spend hours there. Beautiful stuff.
I find the Natures series particularly exciting.

My friends Dan Black and Jes Seamens over at Landland have designed a beautiful weekly planner for Little Otsu. It’s pretty freakin’ sweet.

I just came across this beautiful piece over at Motionographer.
This video is the work of the student, KU Schneider. Turns out it is part of his senior thesis work.
It happens to feature music from a favorite album of mine by Alva Noto & Ryuichi Sakamoto, titled Insen.
Pure, simple, and honest stuff.

Some thoughts on Squarepusher’s new album, Just A Souvenir, which was released via MP3 download today.
Wicked album, this. Over far too soon, though.
It’s all in there. Head-fuck concréte, twitter-beat collage, sweet sweet melodies, filters, and that Jaco bass.
A couple of songs in there could easily be included on a mixtape with Lightning Bolt or Original Silence. Make no mistake, this is electronic music, its just not electronica.
That song Quadrature? What…The…Hell?! All sorts of interesting stuff popping in and out …
And Planet Gear? I give up.
I am continually impressed with Tom Jenkinson’s ability to follow his own thing.
More please.

Digital Kitchen does it again. I’ve never seen the show, but I love the main titles.
